Pickleball is a racket sport in which two or four players use a smooth-faced paddle to hit a perforated, hollow plastic ball over a 34-inch-high net, until one side is unable to return the ball. It is the most rapidly growing racket sport in the country.
Beginners welcome.
New members to Biddulph u3a are very welcome to join us and their first two sessions will be free.
This is our original Pickleball Group run by Margaret. It is a group of mixed abilities from beginners to more advanced players. The group is organised so that we play games with a mixed variety of other players throughout the session. Everyone is welcome at this group. Equipment can be loaned for your initial sessions and complete beginners who want to try this new sport are very welcome, Our leader is a very experienced player who is happy to help you, as indeed will any other member of this friendly group.
This session runs for 1 hour and costs £2

Our very own Margaret Plant returned from playing in the Welsh Open Pickleball Tournament with a Gold Medal. Well done Margaret.
