Do you enjoy learning to play different board games or do you have a favourite game but have no-one to play it with?
Why not come along to our Group on Monday afternoons from 1.30 until 3.30?
You will meet a small group of friendly people who are on your wavelength. We enjoy all sorts of board games and we also play Mahjong.
There are no rules as to what games we play: we decide that between us on the day. Among the games we have are Rummikub, Yahtzee, Scrabble, Triominos and Sequence to name but a few. Suggestions for new games are very welcome.
You will receive a warm welcome and a hot drink. We even have biscuits as well!The fascinating and addictive ancient Chinese game of Mah jong is a game for 4 players, and is played with a set of 148 tiles, the size of dominoes. Players play as individuals, not as partners.

In addition, we are extending the activities of this group to accommodate those who wish to play more familiar traditional games such as Scrabble, Rummikub, Catan etc.

Whatever you choose to play, the idea is to have lots of fun, and some gentle mental exercise in a friendly, sociable environment.
