Wanted: Badminton Players. Your Friday morning Badminton Group is looking for new players. All levels will be welcome at this very friendly group, from absolute beginners to the more experienced player. Come and give us a try.

Our badminton group is a very friendly group of players of mixed abilities ranging from beginners to those who have played competitively in the past. All abilities, including absolute beginners, are very welcome. Every member of the group is happy to help with advice where requested and we all mix up so that as far as possible we play a variety of games with different partners and opponents.. We usually play doubles, both level doubles and mixed doubles with the emphasis on having fun.

We play at Biddulph Leisure Centre on Friday mornings between 10:00 and 11:00 using 3 courts. Your first two sessions can be taken free of charge and if you decide to join the group, you would have to become a member of Biddulph u3a if you aren't already. We have a weekly subscription of £2.00 to help cover the costs of court hire.
