A small and friendly group who get together to play and sing a very wide variety of songs, purely for the pleasure and challenge of doing so.
They may be jazz, reggae, rock, blues, folk or country. If we like it, we do it! We have a repertoire which is growing all the time. More songs are added as the Group wishes. Currently there are around 150 songs for us to choose from, and everyone gets to choose.
We meet in a small room, so everything is completely 'unplugged'.
Some of us play other instruments like Mandolin or Acoustic Bass Guitar.
When it comes to the trickier chord changes, we help each other out, and are willing to support less experienced players.
We believe that singing is good for you, even if you are not that good at doing it!

The Group performs several concerts during the year. They have appeared at the Summer Extravaganza and the Christmas Party in the Town Hall. They have performed at Picnic in the Park at Biddulph Grange Country Park and this year (2026) also put on their first Acoustic Group Concert in Lund House.
