๐ ๐ ๐๏ธ Biddulph Classic Car Show ๐ธ ๐ถ๐ค
This coming Saturday, 13th September, is Biddulph Classic Car Show. This event sees people thronging the streets around Biddulph town centre, where they can see so many of the old classic vehicles lining these streets. These old treasures will be gleaming, hopefully in the sunshine, many with their proud owners on hand to chat to. For the older generation of onlookers memories come flooding back from their younger days, when seeing some of these cars, trucks, motorcycles etc would have been the norm. Their parents or even themselves may have owned one back in the day or knew someone who did. As for the younger ones, well, some may just look in awe at the wonderful designs in front of them.
๐ Why not rock up and see for yourselves! ๐ธ

Three of Biddulph u3a's very own well polished old classics, Frank Harris and Bill Hancock who along with Phil Poole on Bass, will be part of the Four-Piece band "Rooster" which will be performing outside the Town Hall during the Afternoon. as part of the event
Baking, Craft and Produce Show
Biddulph u3a has an abundance of creative and talented crafters, busy enthusiastic bakers and budding, blossoming gardeners, so if you click on the link above you will find an opportunity to enter your creations on September 27th at Biddulph Town Hall in the local Homegrown and Handmade Show.
I have spoken to the organiser who has said that for any who donโt want to compete, we can have a gazebo outside, weather permitting, to display some of your groupโs work.
If any Group Leaders would like to display a few pieces, then please let me know asap.
Best wishes,
Barbara Forster
